Diamond & Lile is proud to announce that Laird A. Lile has been recognized in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for trusts and estates, marking his 30th consecutive year of inclusion. Sandra Fascell Diamond, Ben Diamond and Rachel Barlow were also recognized in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, and Marguerite Mills was named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.
Recognition by Best Lawyers is based on peer review, with attorneys evaluating the professional abilities of their peers within the same geographic region and practice area. Thirty consecutive years of inclusion places Lile among a small group of attorneys recognized by their peers for three decades of sustained excellence in the field.
Lile, a board-certified wills, trusts and estates attorney based in Naples, has spent his career deeply involved in the shape of Florida’s legal system. He is a longtime member of the Florida Judicial Management Council and represented the 20th Judicial Circuit, which includes Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties, for 18 years as an elected member of the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar. In 2010, he was inducted into Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame, and he has been named to Florida Trend’s Florida 500 for eight consecutive years. He is a past chair of the Second District Court of Appeal Nominating Commission and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar, and a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, where he has served as a two term regent and state chair.
We’re equally proud to see Sandra Fascell Diamond, Ben Diamond and Rachel Barlow recognized alongside him this year, and to see Marguerite Mills named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, a reflection of the depth our combined firm now brings to trusts and estates work.
